Deborah Berebichez

Deborah Berebichez is a physicist, TV host, data scientist, and the first Mexican woman to graduate with a physics Ph.D. from Stanford University. She is a co-host of Discovery Channel’s Outrageous Acts of Science (2012 – present), where she uses her physics background to explain the science behind extraordinary engineering feats. She also appears as an expert on the Travel Chanel, NOVA, CNN, FOX, MSNBC and numerous international media outlets. As a chief data scientist at New York-based, Metis, she leads the creation and growth of exceptional data science training opportunities. She is also an active contributor to the national data science ecosystem through frequent public speaking engagements and presentations.
