PRIVACY NOTICE

This privacy notice describes the processing of the personal data of users of the “maize magazine” application developed by H-FARM S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to respectively as the “Users” and the “Application”).

H-FARM S.p.A. may amend this privacy notice to take account of future changes in the functionality of the Application. In the event of substantive changes, H-FARM S.p.A. will notify Users about them via banners, make available the updated version of this privacy notice, and accept any requests to exercise the rights recognized by the data protection regulations.

1. CONTROLLER

The Controller of processing is H-FARM Talent S.r.l., with registered office at Via G. Borsi 9, Milan (MI), Tax Code and VAT No. 10202170964 (“H-FARM”).

2. DATA COLLECTED

2.1 Data provided by Users

The personal data processed comprises the identification and contact details of Users (e.g. name and surname, e-mail address), as well as any personal data transmitted to H-FARM when submitting a contact request via the specific section of the Application (together, the “Data”).

We invite Users not to provide Data that is not absolutely essential for the purposes described in point 3 below. H-FARM will not use any Data belonging to third parties and/or not relevant to the purposes of processing that may be included in communications received from Users.

H-FARM will process the Data that is strictly necessary and reserves the right to delete or anonymize immediately any Data that is not necessary.

All data collect via use of the Application (such as operating system used, model of smartphone, errors encountered) is anonymous and aggregated; accordingly, it is not personal data pursuant to the data protection regulations.

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

The Data will also be processed in order to respond to any requests submitted by Users by clicking on the “Contact” button in the Application.

The provision of Data is voluntary, but necessary: any refusal will make it impossible for H-FARM to respond to requests received from Users or provide the information concerned.

Such processing is necessary in view of the legitimate interest of H-FARM to reply to Users, in order to offer support and provide information regarding the requests received. This interest of H-FARM has been balanced with that of Users and found compatible with the reasonable expectation of the latter to receive replies to the requests sent to H-FARM.

In any case, Users may object to such processing at any time by writing to H-FARM at the addresses indicated in point 6 below. Any objections will not prejudice the lawfulness of the processing carried out by H-FARM up to that time, but will result in erasure of all the Data and make it impossible to follow up on any outstanding requests.

4. DATA RECIPIENTS 

The Data will be processed both manually and electronically by employees and collaborators of H-FARM, to whom the last mentioned has given detailed operating instructions with special reference to the adoption of adequate technical and organizational security measures. 

Additionally, the Data will also be processed under a data processing agreement signed by H-FARM with Paperlit S.r.l., with registered office at Via Sassari 3, 09123, Cagliari, VAT No. 03297020921, as an authorized Processor that provides Application administration and maintenance services, as well as User support services.

  • RETENTION PERIOD

The Data collected and processed by H-FARM, for the purposes specified in point 3 above, may be retained in a form that allows User identification for the period needed to achieve the purposes of processing and, in particular, for a period of 12 months from the last contact made.

Data may be retained for a longer period whenever necessary to comply with statutory obligations or protect the rights of H-FARM, until the relevant statutory time limit is reached.

5. USER RIGHTS AND CONTACT DATA

Users may, at any time and to the extent that the rights are applicable: 

  1. obtain access to their Data; 
  2. request the correction, erasure or restriction of the processing of their Data;
  3. object to processing, in the manner described in article 3 above, without prejudicing the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the objection; 
  4. lodge complaints with the Data Protection Authority or make recourse to the competent judicial Authority.

Requests to exercise the above rights must be sent to H-FARM at one of the following addresses:

  • by e-mail to the address: privacy@h-farm.com;
  • by registered mail with confirmation of receipt, to H-FARM Talent S.r.l., Via Sile 41, 31056, Roncade (TV).

Requests for further information about this privacy notice may also be sent to the same addresses.

6. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

This privacy notice is provided exclusively in relation to Data collected via the Application for the purposes specified in point 3, and does not relate to any other websites accessed and/or accessible through links, such as Google Play and Apple Store, used to purchase the magazine presented on the Application or subscriptions to it: such other websites will process the Data as independent controllers in compliance with their respective privacy notices, reference to which is expressly recommended to Users.

7. COOKIE POLICY

Cookies are small strings of text that websites visited by Users send to their device browsers, which store them for retransmission to the same websites when they are visited again by the Users concerned. 

The Application does not use cookies.
