Jane’s career in education began when she became fascinated with child development. While caring for her nephew, she witnessed the incredible learning that occurs daily for infants; both naturally and through adult provided stimulation. She began teaching in an early years center and then moved into elementary teaching in San Francisco. Her desire to explore the world led her into international schools, where she has been fortunate to have worked in seven different countries over the past 21 years. As an educational leader she believes it is her role to support students and teachers as individuals and to ensure that the work teachers undertake on a daily basis allows each child to develop independence, responsibility and a strong desire to learn.
