Franco Farinelli

Geography professor

Franco Farinelli is a geographer, Professor of Human Geography at the University of Bologna, and President of the Italian Geographers Association. Throughout his career, he taught at the University of Geneva, UCLA, and the Sorbonne. Among his books are Geography and Crisis of cartographic reason. He edited the new edition of the Journey into the equinoctial regions of A. von Humboldt (Quodlibet / Humboldt, 2014).
