Adrian Kearney

Adrian Kearney is passionate about the transformative power of education and has spent his entire working life in the profession, first as an English language teacher in Italy and the UK and then as a director of studies in Oxford. In 1998, he joined the University of Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Examinations, where, over a 10 year period, he worked in a number of areas including professional development, recognition, services for state schools, business development in Europe and business management and planning. In 2009, he started his career in the International Baccalaureate World Schools (IB) first as regional director, Africa, Europe and Middle East, and currently as general director.
