Eleonora Raspi

Art curator and Researcher

Eleonora Raspi, PhD, is an independent art curator and researcher. Born in the Etruscan capital of Volterra in 1982, and she came back there following twenty years of travelling across Milan, Philadelphia and London. After having proudly served as Assessore alla Cultura e Istruzione for her born city, she is currently collaborating with Kalpa Art Living gallery (Volterra), alongside other cultural institutions, magazines and art residency programs in Tuscany. During her academic and professional career, Eleonora taught in universities in the U.S., and presented her interdisciplinary work within the fields of Contemporary Art, Cinema and Literature in conferences and workshops in the US, UK and Italy. Together with a specialized interest in the filmmaker Michelangelo Antonioni, her research focuses on the dialogue between different art disciplines and mediums, and spans subjects such as liminality, spatial and urban issues, and individual versus collective identities.
